    1. Registration/Abstract Submission

    The registration fees entitles the participant to:
  • complete 5-day conference program, abstract book and information folders
  • access to all sessions, exhibits and posters
  • use of the conference facilities
  • lunches, coffee and tea breaks
  • social events, receptions
  • Please note that there are additional fees for the tutorials and for the banquet. The registration fee does also not include hotel costs.

    1.1 On-Line Registration/Abstract Submission:

    The organizing committee encourages you to use the electronic registration and abstract submission option. The advantages are severalfold:
    - immediate electronic confirmation
    - back mirroring of received information for printout/storage/corrections

    1.2 Registration/Abstract Submission by Mail:

    Alternatively the

    can be printed from the Internet or they can be taken from the printed 2nd Announcements (Call for Abstracts) and mailed to Heidelberg. The conventionally printed 2nd Announcement will be sent out at the beginning of Jan.1999 to all those who have returned the preregistration cards of the first congress announcement.

    - Oral session abstract submission until: Jan.31, 1999
    - Prolonged to Feb.9, 1999 due to late mailing of Preliminary Programs
    - Electronic Poster Abstract Submission until Mar.12,1999

    - Late Registration i.e. payment after Feb.15, 1999: +80DM addition on registration fee (does not apply in case of accepted abstract: Payment has to become effective within one week after notification of abstract acceptance !)

    - Early hotel booking is highly recommended ! Frequent meetings, tourism and a restricted number of centrally located hotels require early booking to obtain convenient rooms.

    - ESACP members: 550DM
    - non ESACP members: 720DM
    - Students (with copy of valid immatriculation/student card): 500DM
    - Late Registration (i.e. payment received after Feb.15, 1999): +80 DM supplement on registration fees
    - Tutorials: 180DM
    - Banquet     Schwetzingen (limited to 300 tickets): 50DM

    7. Exhibitors

    - companies which are interested to exhibit their products at the 6thESACP Congress are welcome to adress themselves for details to the Heidelberg Congress office (see: 15.)

    A. Guided visit of Old Heidelberg 10DM
    B. Guided visit of Heidelberg Castle 10DM
    C. Special group visit: Goethe and Heidelberg 10DM
    D. Boat trip on Neckar to Neckarsteinach (medieval village with castle) 20DM

    9. Payments

    9.1 On-Line Registration:

    No credit card numbers and bank account data are demanded during on-line registration to avoid unsafe data transfers via the Internet. We demand instead the immediate mailing of the appropriately filled in "Payment Form" to Heidelberg which completes your registration. Incomplete registrations will be handled as late registrations after Feb.15.

    9.2 Registration by Mail:

    Payments by credit card, bank transfer or cheque will be accepted as indicated on the Registration Form.

    10. Cancellation Policy for Congress Registrants

    Retention on paid registration fees:
    - until Jan.31: none
    - between Feb.1 and Feb.15: 100DM
    - between Feb.16 and Mar.15: 250DM
    - after Mar.15: all i.e. no refund
